Yes, the Matchbook Book Club has a blog now! This will be a place where everyone can comment and discuss about our reads, keep updated on events and meetings, and get weekly doses of inspiration.
I want to thank everyone who came out to our first meeting- it was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet every one of you.
The Matchbook Book Club adores many things... including charming book stores from all around the world, including this little gem from Paris! Shakespeare and Co. is a must-see while visiting this city for book-lovers all over. An interesting fact about this book store is that they have a well just behind the cashier's desk, where you're to turn your back to the well and throw a coin into the well. If it lands in the well, the saying goes: "One day you will return to Paris". - count us in!

From what it sounds, Shakespeare and Company is heaven sent for both writers and readers alike. I wouldn't mind living, reading and writing there while helping around the shop. I wish there were exactly like one in Toronto. Oh, well, one more reason to visit Paris!
